
It was found out during the survey by the jewelery website Bottica.com, German men are the stringiest ones when purchasing Valentine’s Day gifts followed by Italians. While men in far eastern countries like China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore tend to spend more money on Valentine’s day presents that any other country in the world- £173 per order.

These countries are followed by Spain and France with £151 and £120 per order. UK and USA occupy the fourth and the fifth places- men in these countries spend nearly £118 and £107 per gift. Germans and Italians are on the last places and spend £59 and £62 per order respectively. Study made by QVC shows that there 38 percent of British men have never done romantic gestures like sending love letters.

As for the type of presents men prefer buy online, earrings are the most popular gift- 31 percent of men chose them as Valentine’s day present. They are followed by the bracelets (26 percent and necklaces (21 percent). Rings occupy the latest place with its 14 percent.
